Privacy Law

Many business transactions rely on collecting and storing personal information and data. The Privacy Act 1988 (Privacy Act) regulates the handling of personal information about individuals, so it is crucial for business owners to ensure their customers’ privacy is protected and respected.

The benefits of obtaining correct advice and putting systems in place that comply with the Privacy Act far outweigh the risks of not doing so. TLFC are able to advise on areas of the law covered by the Privacy Act, including Australian Privacy Principals, the handling of tax file numbers, the handling of personal information and the creation of privacy regulations.

Trading Terms

TLFC are able to provide expert advice on the terms and conditions which apply to the supply of good or services by your business. Your trading terms will be one of the main documents that will form the basis of any legal action that may arise in relation to your products and services in the future. It is essential you receive the correct advice to avoid costly mistakes.
