In 2022, Matisse graduated from the Queensland University of Technology with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours), Bachelor of Justice (majoring in Policy and Governance) and completed her practical legal training at the College of Law.

Prior to and following Matisse’s admission in the Supreme Court of Queensland in late 2022, she has worked in a number of areas of law in both Queensland and Victoria, these include: commercial litigation, insolvency, debt recovery, property and leasing, employment law and industrial matters.

Matisse enjoys working closely with clients and prides herself on her keen eye for detail and diligent work ethic. Daily Matisse works with individuals, companies in small to large enterprises and is devoted to developing her skills as a diligent and efficient lawyer under the formidable mentorship of Amy La Verde.

In her spare time, Matisse enjoys being a tourist within Melbourne (having only recently moved here), enjoying good coffee and planning her next off-road trip in her Suzuki Jimny with her two dogs.

There are always flowers for those who want to see them.
- Henri Matisse, 1947
