Tineka Winter

Tineka is an experienced family lawyer and Accredited Family Law Specialist who is committed to supporting clients through what is often one of the most challenging times of their lives by providing practical advice tailored to each client’s unique circumstances.

Since her admission in 2016, Tineka has worked exclusively in family law.

Prior to commencing practice as a solicitor, she spent two years working as an Associate to a Judge in what is now the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia.

Tineka graduated from the University of Newcastle with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and Bachelor of Arts (with distinction).  After university Tineka worked for a commercial law firm in London before returning to Australia.

Tineka works with clients who find themselves in an array of circumstances following separation.  She has worked with clients who have complex financial circumstances and others who need assistance navigating high conflict parenting disputes.  Tineka’s focus in all matters is to assist clients reach a resolution as soon as possible, provided it is safe and appropriate to do so.

Tineka also assists clients with strategies for asset protection both prior to and during de facto relationships and marriages.

Outside of work, Tineka enjoys spending time with her family and trying to keep her herb garden alive.
