Lucy has been engaged as a Legal Case Manager with the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia from late 2022, and Associate to a Judge of the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia.

She has a detailed understanding of the Court’s processes and approach to family law matters. Lucy’s interest in family law was first piqued during her legal studies and through her volunteer work at South-East Monash Legal Service where she assisted parties navigating separation. This experience led Lucy to undertake a final year Honours Thesis, examining the challenges faced by parties when navigating the family law system following separation. Lucy received the Supreme Court Exhibition Prize for Best Honours Thesis presented by the Chief Justice.

As a compassionate and enthusiastic lawyer, Lucy aims to work closely with clients to assist them to achieve practical outcomes. Lucy seeks to ensure that her clients achieve cost-proportionate, commercial and sustainable resolutions during a challenging period in life.

Outside of work, Lucy enjoys cooking for her family, knitting and sewing.
