Vivek is an industrial relations and employment lawyer, with a passion for advocacy and dispute resolution. Prior to joining Tisher Liner FC Law, Vivek work as a Senior Industrial Officer at a union, representing and advising healthcare workers.

Vivek prides himself on bringing a client-centred approach to his work and securing favourable outcomes for clients that are aligned with their objectives. He is committed to ensuring that his legal advice is clear, concise, and accurate.

Vivek has represented and advised clients in matters at the Fair Work Commission, Magistrates Court of Victoria, Australian Human Rights Commission, Merit Protections Boards, Victorian Equal Opportunity and Human Rights Commission, and AHPRA. These matters included unfair dismissal, general protections, sexual harassment, bullying, and disputes relating to entitlements under an Enterprise Agreements and the NES.

Vivek has also prepared and presented Parliamentary Submissions, provided input on proposed law reform, and engaged with the State Government on policy matters.

Vivek is a graduate of Monash University with degrees in Law, Psychology (Science), and Philosophy (Arts).

Vivek was admitted to practice as a lawyer in the Supreme Court of Victoria in November 2020. Prior to his legal career, Vivek worked as a Public Health Researcher at leading research institutes and hospitals for over 6 years.

When Vivek is not working, he enjoys spending time with his partner, and trying not to pull a muscle during a yoga or martial arts class.
