A property and commercial law specialist, Nafsika is a young rising star. She has a broad range of experience in both fields, and was recently recognised for achieving her Accredited Property Law Specialisation and was named Victorian Young Property Lawyer of the Year.

Nafsika Palbas confidently advises clients, investors and developers on real estate acquisitions, dispositions, developments, security documents and commercial, retail and industrial leases. In the commercial law realm, Nafsika deals with various matters including intellectual property, sale and purchase of businesses and shareholders and unit-holders agreements.

In 2018, Nafsika was awarded the Lawyers Weekly 30 Under 30 Award in the category of Construction and Real Estate. She is the youngest Accredited Property Law Specialist in Victoria and was named Victorian Young Property Lawyer of the Year in August 2017 to follow in the footsteps of Jonathan Tisher who received the same award in 2006.

In a booming market where the sky is the limit, Nafsika’s expertise in air rights in Victoria is an invaluable bonus for clients looking to capitalise on their assets value. Acquiring air rights is in some respects akin to acquiring physical land. As such, opportunities for acquisition, sale, subdivision or lease may be available to interested parties. By equal measure, issues may arise to complicate the transaction, for example questions of ownership within owners corporations and planning restrictions. Nafsika has the experience and capacity to traverse these complex matters.
