Shelley is a tenacious and diligent lawyer and an integral member of the Owners Corporation Division.
Shelley Lae is focused on reaching practical and lucrative resolutions to disputes and legal proceedings between Owners Corporations, Lot Owners and other parties who deal with Owners Corporations.
Her role includes acting on behalf of Owners Corporations and providing legal advice to Owners Corporations on their legal rights and obligations under legislation. Shelley Lae leads TLFC’s levy recovery division of the Owners Corporation team. She understands that levy recovery can be complex and requires custom-made solutions that will respond specifically to the client’s situation. She plays a pivotal role in ensuring her clients are able to effectively raise or recover funds where levies remain unpaid. Shelley has extensive experience acting in enforcement proceedings for levy recovery at the Magistrates’ Court, Federal Circuit Court and Supreme Court.
