Rachael Hammond practices as an Owners Corporation and Employment lawyer. Rachael’s focus is ensuring that each client receives comprehensive, timely and easy to understand legal advice.

Owners Corporations

Rachael works closely with Principal, Nicole Wilde. She understands the complexities and nuances of strata living which is an area that requires specialist knowledge.

Rachael regularly appears at the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal for Directions Hearings, drafts legal documents relevant to litigation proceedings, reviews and drafts licence and lease agreements and provides a broad range of legal advice about owners corporation and lot owner obligations under the Owners Corporation Act 2006 (Vic) as well as building defect advice.

Employment Law

Rachael has detailed technical knowledge of the Fair Work Act 2009 (Cth) and interpreting industrial instruments. Rachael provides both employers and employers with legal advice across a broad range of matters including unfair dismissal and general protections applications, general performance management and disciplinary procedures as well as reviewing and drafting policies and employment contracts.

Outside of work, Rachael enjoys yoga, brunching and travelling.
