Government acquisitions don’t just happen in the movies such as The Castle.

There are many government infrastructure projects occurring at the moment. The Melbourne Metro Rail Authority has just issued Notices of Acquisition acquiring land in the Melbourne CBD and the Level Crossing Removal Authority has been informing land owners of land being acquired in Cheltenham and Seaholme.

It is important that you get legal advice on a compulsory acquisition early and from an expert.

Phillip Leaman at Tisher Liner FC Law has dealt with a significant number of government acquisitions acting for land owners and tenants and acts in matters in these current projects.
