  • Commercial Lawyer

    We are looking to expand our commercial law team.   This is an interesting and varied position assisting our principals, you will need to have strong communication skills and be confident and efficient with the management of files.  We are committed to our clients and providing professional advice across a range of commercial matters.   We are seeking a lawyer with at least 3 years PAE in commercial work to join our busy team. This role will provide you with broad work exposure across a number of industries with our highly valued clients.   This role requires strong drafting skills and attention to detail. Ideally, you should have experience in business and commercial law matters, including:
    • preparing and advising on shareholder and unitholder agreements and share/unit transfers;
    • advising on and preparing loan and security documentation;
    • advising in sale/purchase of business transactions;
    • corporations law advice;
    • advising on intellectual property matters such as licensing and distribution agreements;
    • preparing and advising on retail leases;
    • advising on and preparing general commercial contracts and agreements.

  • Internship Program

    Tisher Liner FC Law offers clerkships spanning two weeks over the summer and winter periods to allow law students to gain practical experience. We are looking for advanced written and research skills, attention to detail and an ability to think logically and approach tasks in an organised and thoughtful manner.  We look for motivated people with the capacity to work to a high standard under pressure.  We choose people with a drive to succeed.  We will give you meaningful and varied work to develop your skills.   • Owners Corporation/Construction Lawyer

    Tisher Liner FC Law is an established law firm in the CBD looking for a results driven lawyer to join this growing specialist area, providing legal advice and representation in the field of owners corporations and domestic building defect disputes for apartment buildings. Experience running litigation files in the initial stages is a must, and exposure to domestic building defect dispute work at VCAT or owners corporations law is essential.  You will be trained in this expanding area of property law and litigation with the view to developing your legal skills in the company of experienced and dedicated lawyers.  You will be part of a small, hardworking team that strives to provide excellent customer service to clients with a high degree of quality and professionalism. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to prove themselves an integral part of this specialist legal team, where a strong work ethic is recognised and rewarded.
